CONTOURS is an international symposium which will bring together speakers from Ireland and aboard.

This one day event will focus on the theme of cultural identity and its impact on the artistic practice of the speakers.

Constructivist philosophy takes the stand point that we are formed by our contexts and assumptions as human beings; that we are constructed by the environment around us.
If this is true then each of us is a singular representation of a bigger picture. 

CONTOURS will look at this idea in light of the making process.
